Have I ever tried to dress up as Squall? Mmmmaybe.
When I was probably fourteen or fifteen, I decided that I wanted a Squall outfit. So I went to a charity shop, bought a fake leather jacket, and then cut the trim off a Father Christmas hat and attached it to the collar with double-sided tape.
I was convinced I was a genius.
In my early twenties, when I realised that my hair was roughly the length of Squall's, I threw on the long-neglected jacket and took a few pictures with a low-quality webcam. These are the photos you can see above! The taped-on fur collar was starting to detach itself by this point, which is why it looks a bit odd.
At the time, I didn't have a Griever necklace, so I'm wearing the Kingdom Key from Kingdom Hearts as a substitute. I'm pleased to report that I do, in fact, now own a Griever necklace. The rest of my makeshift Squall costume has disintegrated by this point, though, alas, and I can no longer pass for seventeen; it's been a while!
